Archive(ist) —

Archive(ist) is an annual exhibition of work between the National Irish Visual Arts Library (NIVAL) and second-year students of Communication Design, NCAD. The students, in groups, are tasked with designing bespoke books inspired by the resources at NIVAL. The resulting invitation, catalogue and banner took inspiration from the steps behind maintaining an archive; collecting, organising, reviewing etc. The outcomes are designed in a categorised manner to reiterate this process. The catalogue was riso-printed by Or Studio.
